May Contain Traces of Nuts

A new piece for the May Contain Traces of Nuts show in Melbourne. See pictures from the show [here].

China Heights 100th Show

These are some new drawings I did for the Heights 100th Show. They are new beings who have many eyes so that they can simultaneously see many dimensions at once. They don't have mouths as they communicate telepathically and they are responsible for protecting freedom of thought.

Post Wood Monster Children Show

A new work on paper for the Post Wood Monster Children Show. I'm quite happy with new softer colours on this one.

New Work on Canvas

I just finished a new painting on canvas which is new for me as I normally work on paper but I worked out the key is lots of coats of primer to make it nice and smooth.

New Drawing

Spider web lashes and a collar of petals.

Mambo Finders Keepers Show

This is the the drawing I did based on the idea of Nehebkau - a two headed snake. Nehebkau was said to guard the entrance to the Underworld and was responsible for binding together the soul and life force after death.

Oxford Art Factory Mural

Brett Chan invited me to work on his Shaka Brah installation. He and Jaime made a [film] of the whole process.

Curvy Four

This is the artwork I contributed to the Curvy Four book this year as well as the black and white art that I screen printed onto the Adidas jacket that was customised for the show. I spent ages embroidering cobwebs onto the front of the jacket and covered it with googly eye balls. I also did a mural for the show with Woodley and Numskull see pictures of that [here].

Company of the Dead Show

This is one of my favourite drawings to date. I started thinking about the images that represented death or the dead to me and they were the mexican skull, the egyptian dog Anubis and the Grim Reaper. This was my psychadelic tribute to those three.

My Solo Show

Here are a selection of limited prints, wallpaper, lampshades , drawings and paintings all loosely exploring voodoo, african art, occult symbolism, fluoro, love, innocence, sacred geometry, top hats, snakes, owls and 18th century hairstyles that I exhibited in my show "Shamanical" at China Heights in June 2007. More pictures of lampshades [here] and wallpaper installation [here].

Work in Progress for Solo Show

Here are some details of the drawings while I was working on them for my solo show.

Enroute Exhibition

This was the coloured up version of my wallpaper design that was printed onto big posters and pasted up around the city as part of Sydney Design Week.

New Paste Ups

I did a bit of a mission around town one night and pasted up these prints that I hand coloured.
