These are the new large shades I made for the Enfant Terrible Show at Monster Children Gallery.

These lampshades are made from laser etched velour paper. I designed the prints and then had them etched into the paper originally for artworks but when I realised how beautiful they looked with light shining through I made them into lampshades. These have been exhibited in Munich as part of the Talente International Student Design Show and also in the Student Design Awards at Object Gallery in Sydney.

This range of lampshades grew out of the increasing demand for lamps that I was exhibiting in shows/installations. They were previously stocked in Museum of Contemporary Art stores and other design stores nationally however I now just make to order. [Enquiries].

I made an installation in the window of Pigeon Ground Public - a vintage clothing and record store in Camperdown. These were the first paper lampshades I made. Opening night pictures [here].
